Tunnel Travel: Channel tunnel booking

November 11th, 2008 by paris

Hotel accommodations can be arranged through your ferry or train company by just booking your trip online.  The ferry boat lines and trains travelling to and from Channel Tunnel are fully-equipped for overnight trips and long trips where locals and visitors who are travelling can stay.  Beforehand, the passenger must reserve such amenities before the scheduled trip.

While making reservations with Eurotunnel if you are travelling via ferry, you can also make reservations to stay at the Eurotunnel hotels which are located in 35,000 different locations all over Europe.  For ski holiday visitors, Channel tunnel booking can also be made for EurotunnelSki, which is a skiing resort owned and operated by the Eurotunnel company as well.  All reservations for Eurotunnel travels are now mostly done online, for faster processing.  Make sure that you meet your reservations so you will not be blacklisted from the service.  The Eurotunnel ferry service and accommodations also offer promos for frequent travellers such as exclusive lounges and priority boarding.

Eurostar, the bullet train which takes visitors to and from the Channel Tunnel, offers Channel tunnel booking at their online website as well.  Reservations are required by Eurostar for all travel to different parts of UK and Continental Europe.  Make sure that you know when you need to make reservations so that you don’t mess up your schedule and your trip.  Not all trains though accept reserved boarding; however, making Channel tunnel booking are wiser consumer decisions so that you can be assured a slot during the day of your trip.

Thanks for the tips about the reservations. I might not have realized that about teh Eurostar which really could have put a kink in my plans. I have been enjoying your blog as I am preparing for a trip to Paris this June. Lots of good info here.
