2. How to book
   Always follow the guide lines and book early to get the best deals. Avoid rush times like Public / Bank holidays, or school holidays. LD Lines Website lists various special offers.

3. Travel time is
   Between 6 – 7 hours, Depending on the ferry you are traveling in and the route you are taking.
4. Check in
   1. Vehicles must be checked in at least 45 minutes before departure.
   2. Foot passengers and disabled passengers should check-in at least 90 minutes before departure.
   3. If you are traveling with a Pet, check-in at least 90 minutes before departure.
5. Ideal for accompanied Cars , foot passengers and Pets – Much more flexible than either Eurotunnel or Eurostar.
6. For PetsPets must remain in your car at all times during the channel crossing. If you are a Foot passenger then you must bring a lockable cage. Pet travel must be booked over the phone, pets will be looked after by the ferry team.

2. Very pleasant on board atmosphere on LD Lines English Channel Ferries.

   Relaxing sea views and fresh air. A range of restaurants including self service, seating and lounge areas, selection or bars, and on board shopping cheaper than duty free prices ( and below high street prices ).
3. A fully equipped disabled cabin on board the Norman Spirit . Disabled facilities such as Disabled toilets ,wheelchairs (on request), wheelchair friendly lifts, etc.
4. For Vehicles
   1. High Visibility Jacket (must be carried in a place accessible without having to get off the vehicle. ( definitely not in the boot). In case of breakdown jacket must be worn before you exit the vehicle ). Warning Triangle (can be in the boot.)
   2. Vehicles exceeding 5 meters in length and 1.85 meters in height, must be declared at time of booking.
   3. Gas -LPG converted vehicles or camper vans carrying a maximum of 1 LPG cylinder for domestic powering purposes are allowed on board. Vehicles containing Gas cylinders must be declared at time of booking.
